Use this screen to manage details of the service. Some components of the screen may not be visible, depending on the type of short code and setup you have - please see below for details.

Explanation of Available Fields

Name Name differentiates the service (also known as campaign) from other services.  Service name must be unique. A service aggregates keywords - and can have many keywords. All people who send a keyword that belongs to a service, become subscribers to the service (campaign)
Type

Subscription Service - is a type of service to which users subscribe - for example, when someone subscribes to your campaign, the phone number is automatically recorded in your account. Your account automatically creates a group of numbers - participants in this campaign. You can then send messages to all or some phones in this group when required.

Information Service - is a type of service which does not record the number of the sender. Use this campaign to reply to an information request - for example, when you want to offer weather related information. The user sends a message containing the keyword and the service responds with the pre-defined text.

Premium Subscription (only available for premium short codes) - Service requires the subscriber to confirm two times that she wants to be a part of the campaign. This is typically used for premium campaigns - for example for $5.99 per month, the service will send a daily joke to all subscribers of the service

Text 2 Win - A service similar to Subscription Service. This type also allows you to select winners and send them a message which acknowledges the win and sends further instructions.

Voting without registration - A service similar to Information Service. You create several keywords, to which people can send messages. The application will create a real-time report that shows number of votes for each option. Senders' phone numbers are not recorded. Multiple votes are allowed

Voting with registration - A service similar to Subscription Service. You create several keywords, to which people can send messages. The application will create a real-time report that shows number of votes for each option. Senders' phone numbers are not recorded. Multiple votes are not allowed.

Reply Handler Select this option to send an alternate reply to phone numbers which have already subscribed to this service.
Mandatory Keywords The system handles messages that contain one of the mandatory keywords. Enter special text that will be returned to the subscribers of this service  when they request extra info (HELP) or when they want to opt-out (STOP)
Share this service with a sub-user (Available for group campaigns only) If you have a reseller account you can create a service and then allow your sub-user to create and manage its keywords.
Allow sub-users to create keywords (Available for group campaigns only) If you share a service then you can decide if your sub users can fully manage keywords for the service (create new or delete)
Maximum number of keywords a sub-user can create (Available for group campaigns only) How many keywords a user can create
Username (Available for group campaigns only) Username of the user to whom the service is assigned
Tariff (For premium short codes only) Amount that will be charged when a user receives a message from the service
